Crocheted 'Chicken' Cosmetic Bag

At the end of the month I am planing to go to a concert to Belgrade, Serbia and I plan to stay there for the weekend. This seems like a big reason to make myself a new cosmetics bag. Where is the fun in life if you always use the same one, right? :D And it reminds me of a chicken.

При крај на месецов треба да идам на концерт во Белград, Србија и планирам да останам таму за викенд. Тоа за мене е доволна причина да си направам нова торбичка за козметика. Не е којзнае што, но мене ме развеселува со незината жолта боја. Незнам зошто ама ме потсетува на кокошка :D

Glasses Cozy // Футрола за очила

Spring is here and I needed new pouch/cozy form my glasses. I wanted to make one that would look 'fresh' and bright. Since I want to keep up with my rule of not buying any more yarn until I use up my stash I was left with small choice of fresh colors and decided to use a mix of white, blue and mint. I am happy with it!

Пролетта доаѓа и време беше да си направам футрола за очилата за сонце. Веке некое време се придржувам до моето правило да не купувам конци и волница додека не ги истрошам залихите и затоа немав голем избор на 'свежи' бои. Останаа само овие кои не ни беа доволни за една футрола и затоа ги искористив и двете бои во комбинација со белата.

Crocheted Candle holders // Хеклани држачи за свеќи

As you can see from the background of the photos my room is covered in wood and it is not as bright as I would like it to be. For some time now I have been putting white decorations so I can get the 'bright and clean' feel when I walk in.

First on the left is a crocheted jar that my friend Gordelicious made. The square one is an old candle holder that I decided to cover with crocheted cozy, and in the back is a vase that I made from old shampoo bottle and also made a crocheted cover for it.

I love recycled projects!!!

Ѕидот од мојата соба е од ламперија и воопшто не ми се допаѓа тој темен изглед на мојата соба. Затоа веке некое време се обидувам да додадам бели предмети со кои ке добијам чувство на белина.

Првиот свеќник од лево е направен од тегла која е прекриена со хеклан дел. Свеќникот е направен од Горде од блогот Gordelicious creative crafts. Коцкастиот свеќник го направив сама, користејки стар свеќник кој го обхеклав со бел памучен конец. Во позадина може да ја видите и вазната која ја направив од старо шише од шампон за кој направив хеклана покривка.

My Crocheted projects that deserve better pictures

These are new crocheted things .made by me...I don't have any decent pictures...and they really deserve quality pictures and maybe even outfit photos...for now here they are...two cowl scarfs and one crocheted top. The top specially deserves more attention from me..I need to block it and then wear it and take good photos...You will see how beautiful it is after the blocking process...cause right now it looks too crunched up and very messy.

My crocheted socks...and some knitted ones

It's winter, it is cold and I don't like it...Usually every year I manage to crochet one pair of crocheted socks for me,  every year. I did one pair this year also, but never managed to take a decent photo of them, I am wearing them all the time and like the warm fuzzy feel on my feet.
This is a small collection of socks that I made in the past. I made few knitted ones and although they look very nice they are not as much fun for me, since I am a very slow knitter and crochet is very fun for me.
I still have few unfinished crochet and knit socks and I have no idea if I will ever finish them.

12 Months of finished Drenka's crochet projects

This year, 2012 I haven't had the time to crochet much, and I have only crocheted at the start of the year and now at the end of the year. I will try to change that and make 2013 more productive, blog-related and product-related. I am proud of every single thing that I made this year and I noticed that my products look more original and have a clean and professional look. 

These are the finished products that I managed to take picture of, I had some customers orders that I am very proud also, but the customers wanted them immediately and that resulted with no pictures for my blog or my archive. There are also some product that are made and they are waiting in line to be photographed, so stay tuned for new finished products on the blog.

Crocheted Mittens

Fingerless Gloves...Crocheted Block Stitch Pattern....purple with a hint of dark blue sparkling thread....made this for sale, but totally want to make one pair for myself...VERY CUTE!!!

Crocheted flowers and a possibly a wedding bouquet

I got inspired to do a crocheted wedding bouquet. Started making these crocheted flowers and they are addicting. They are simple, but very elegant. I still need to buy wire so I can make stems for them, but for now I have put them on cotton thread ball and I love them. If not for wedding bouquet, I think that this would make a great decor at the dining table.

As you can see, some of the flowers are two-toned, I am still experimenting with the colors until I decide what is the best option.

Crocheted Block Stitch Cowl Scarf

Remember when i posted about the Marc Jacobs scarf? 

I liked the block stitch pattern very much and I seemed to end up doing few things in this pattern...I am wondering if I could make a hat also....

Here is my take on the the scarf...As I said before I thought that it was too bulky ...and I followed my thoughts on it and made a small cowl neck scarf....I have to say that I love the end result.

I know that it looks like it is too short, but there are invisible buttons on it.
