Crocheted flowers and a possibly a wedding bouquet

I got inspired to do a crocheted wedding bouquet. Started making these crocheted flowers and they are addicting. They are simple, but very elegant. I still need to buy wire so I can make stems for them, but for now I have put them on cotton thread ball and I love them. If not for wedding bouquet, I think that this would make a great decor at the dining table.

As you can see, some of the flowers are two-toned, I am still experimenting with the colors until I decide what is the best option.

New In - Cotton!!!

Well, it looks like I have broken my no rule for not buying cotton thread or yarn....Well, no body is perfect, right? :/

I have no plan for these beauties, but they look very cute together :)

Crochet covered table and chair!

OMG!!! I love them!!!
Ok, the doilies are hanging on the sides....but, if I do a DIY on my chairs and table I wouldn't leave them hanging...FOR SURE!!!

The are very expensive to buy them , but thumbs up to Anthropologie for giving me this awesome idea....I have no idea when I would do it, but it would be on my "to do" list.

Expensive crocheted toys..are these worth the money?

No way!!!! This is a big no no!!
Paying so much money for a crocheted toy?? yes it is organic cotton, yes it is handmade ...yes i love crocheted things....over 100 Dollars for a toy?!?!?!? It is a bit too much!!!

I have a lot of love for Anthropology, but I don't love their prices sometimes.

$128.00!!!!!!

Crocheted Block Stitch Cowl Scarf

Remember when i posted about the Marc Jacobs scarf
I liked the block stitch pattern very much and I seemed to end up doing few things in this pattern...I am wondering if I could make a hat also....

Here is my take on the the scarf...As I said before I thought that it was too bulky ...and I followed my thoughts on it and made a small cowl neck scarf....I have to say that I love the end result.

I know that it looks like it is too short, but there are invisible buttons on it.

This scarf is available for sale at the Unikatno store here, or my MojaGarderoba store here.

Very expensive crocheted hats

When I first was these hats at Anthorpologie I thought to myself WTF?!?!?! I don't want to sound too bad, but who would wear these? I have all the respect for crocheted work, handmade things all that, but this is too much for me. And another big issue is the price. Sorry , but who would pay $160-$190 for a hat?

Let me make a short resume for these hats. They are made from wool, hand crocheted (although it says on the website hand knitted) and they are made from very bulky yarn. First of all, this is beginner crocheters project, and because the yarn is chunky, it will take no time to make it,even if you just started  to learn how to crochet. So why would anyone want to make these hats so pricey??

Then I noticed that these crocheted hats are hand knitted by Mischa Lampert. So I googled her name to see what else she has got. She seems to sell her products everywhere.
Also she uses hand spun wool!! Well this is a good information....It appears that she is very dedicated to her work because making your own hand spoon yarn takes a lot of time. Believe me, I tried it and it wasn't fun and took a lot of time.

Ok, all that information that I found out about her products tells me that she probably uses quality materials and tries to make them handmade in the real sense of the word, making a finished product from scratch...and I do appreciate that....but.....let's be honest, $190 is too much.....because you can buy hand spun yarn on Etsy or Ravelry and can make these hats for a LOT less than that.

New in - Sock yarn....cheap yarn!

I bought some yarn and thread recently. I have banned my self from going to the yarn stores here in Skopje, because I had so much yarn and thread at home and so little space to keep it. I managed to cut down my stash and have been keeping my self out of the yarn stores for a year maybe. Yes, it has been that much, but I admit that I have been to the stores only when I need to buy something for a clients project, cause a client should have the best yarn that I can buy here.

And because winter is coming I wanted to make myself crocheted socks. I have no idea if I will have the time to actually make them, but I bought the yarn that I need because believe it or not, I didn't have any sock yarn in my stash. I think that this sock yarn will produce some lovely crocheted socks.

And the best thing of all is the price. I found these two skeins in the sales section of the store, and I paid  0.65 Euros for both of them!!!! Really cheap!!! I know that this is not 100% Wool, but you can't beat that price even that it is only 20% Wool.

Beaded crocheted top and a free pattern

I do love this beaded crocheted top from Free People. Sure, it is very artistic, but worn over a plain t-shirt or top it will take your outfit to another level... This is an easy project, can be done by a beginner crocheter and considering that there are a lot of chain crochets, it should be a quick crocheted project...you just need the will to do it...and also have the time to put all those beads on your thread :D

There is already a free pattern for a similar crochet top here: Summer Chain Top

Hot or not - Patchwork crocheted skirt and dress

Hot! Usually I am not a big fan of these patchwork clothes, but this one caught my attention. I think it looks very cute and it could be something that I would gladly see in my wardrobe!
The same talk goes for the dress, but I am more fan of the skirt to be honest.
